Graduate from the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD), V.C Diploma 1997. Freelance for almost 20 years. Published in various magazines and news papers as well as other print media (corporate and advertising clients). Represented as a gallery artist in Calgary, Canada. Participated in group exhibitions in and around Calgary. As of September 2013, represented by Midtowne Gallery in Calgary. In tandem with freelancing, also taught at the Alberta College of Art & Design from 2007 until 2012. Hugo's works are done in traditional media, oil on canvas mainly but also delving into other mediums from time to time.
