Buy a plain basket at craft shop for basket flower arrangement
When making a basket floral arrangement as a gift for Valentine's Day or birthday etc., you do not have to make a woven basket by yourself. You just go to a craft store such as Michaels where you can buy material basket that is not decorated at all. The left photo shows a plain woven basket sold at Michaels. The right photo shows a basket flower arrangement designed and made by our student under the directions of our instructor during a real lesson of California Flower Art Academy. 
You can get this kind of material basket at a craft store for $3 to $5 depending on the size. Not only plain basket but also plain wreaths are also available at craft stores. You can buy a plain wreath made of grapevines etc for $4 to $13 (depending on the size and materials etc) at a craft store. The easel mounted wreath per the photo in this page was also made by our student in the classroom. DIY craft project is getting more and more popular. It is good to do DIY project to make for a gift and souvenir for your loved one.
