These floral arrangements were made by our students under the instructions of our floral design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
As far as you want to enjoy floral designs strictly for hobby such as decorating your home with flowers, you can easily earn practical skills by taking some lessons. If your goal is becoming a professional floral designer or engage in wedding floral decorations, you will be required to take series of courses. The vast majority of our students learn floral arrangement just for enjoying it as a hobby. After taking some lessons such as attending Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course, they can enjoy making arrangements of their own design that reflects their idea and concept.
Once they have earned even a basic skill, they don't have to buy expensive floral arrangements at a floral shop. Instead they just buy cut flowers and arrange into their own taste and style. There are tons of information regarding floral designs on the internet.  |
If they have a will to expand their design portfolio, they can DIY after earning a certain level of skills at a school. California Flower Art Academy is more than happy to help you earn practical skills necessary for home decoration with floral designs. Suppose you earn a skill by taking some lessons at a school and enjoy doing arrangements yourself, you MAY feel like enhancing the design portfolio or make improvements by brushing up on your skills. In this kind of case, you can come back to our school anytime you like. It is not necessary to take lessons on a consecutive basis.
Only when you feel like learning more, you can come back. Or only after you save some money for next lesson fees, you should resume taking lessons. Some people do so. Some people do not. Instead they enjoy doing themselves. It is up to you how to enjoy floral design life.
