Both are Ikebana arrangements made by our students under the instruction of our Ikebana teacher during a real lesson in the classroom of
California Flower Art Academy. No matter which it is, Japanese Ikebana or European arrangement, if you take lessons at California Flower Art Academy, you can earn skills of making this kind of Ikebana designs. Our proven track record shows that students who are taking lesson diligently and practice at home have no difficulties of earning a good skill of floral arranging.
The right side arrangement does not use Kenzan and Suiban. Instead it uses floral foam (also known as "Oasis"). Therefore the way of making arrangement is a kind of mixture of Ikebana and European arrangement. The name of arrangement style of the right one is Crescent arrangement which is quite popular in Ikebana and also European arrangement. Since its foundation back in 1990,
