Easel mounted wreaths displayed at event places
Click on the photo to enlarge it. The wreath shown here was designed and made by one of our students under the instruction of our flower arrangement instructor during a real lesson in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
There are two types of wreaths. One is easel (stand) mounted wreath and the other one is garland type wreath. Easel mounted type is often used for business operation such as event decoration (weddings, funerals and grand openings etc). On the other hand garland type is often used for making home decoration as well as a kind of accessory worn around a neck just like a Lei in Hawaii where local people offer Lei to welcome visitors to Hawaii. People wear Lei around their neck.
Garland type wreath is also used by a bride at the time of weddings. We always teach how to make above mentioned wreaths using fresh flowers. Although the lesson of making wreaths is included in our regular courses, some people would like to learn only wreaths. |
For this kind of students, we offer Wreath Making Program that is a short seminar. By joining this seminar, students can learn two kinds of wreaths as mentioned above (Easel mounted wreath and also garland type wreath).
California Flower Art Academy has been teaching a variety of floral arrangements to local people in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley (San Jose) since 1990 as a floral school certified by Flower Decorators Association (Tokyo, Japan). Our Wide Range of Programs greatly helps students make a choice of their favorite course considering their budget, taste and purpose of learning flower arrangements.
If you are looking for a reliable floral design class that can offer quality lessons, why not join California Flower Art Academy where you can learn floral design by way of hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions (semi private lesson).
