Once in a while, we have prospective students who are planning to earn floral arranging skills for the undermentioned purposes:
(1) Preparing for their future job as a floral designer or floral shop owner after quitting a current job.
(2) Preparing for a side job that should be done in parallel with their main job they are currently doing.
People who belong to above (1) really love flowers and like floral designs. It is ideal if they can earn money from the type of job they like. In this sense working as a floral designer or floral shop owner sounds very attractive if the income from such job is reasonable.
People who belong to above (2) are very careful. They do not want to lose their current job and it looks like they know it is difficult to get a new job with the same level of income once they lose the current job. By way of keeping a current job, they would like to earn extra money from a side job.
Some people would like to offer wedding floral decorating services only on the weekend. Some people want to offer flower arrangements to restaurants, offices or retail shops as well as business complexes. (Floral decorations displayed in such places are sometimes called Corporate Floral Arrangements). If they successfully establish good business relationships with business owners who become floral design customers, they MIGHT be able to enjoy a side job for earning a second income. If they are successful in penetrating the market as a flower decorating vendor, next step COULD be to concentrate on such business as a main income source.
No matter for which purpose they want to learn floral designs, it MAY not be so easy to earn very attractive income. Regardless of the type of job, in order to be successful in establishing prestigious business status, they must work very hard. Sometimes in addition to making efforts, they have to be very resourceful and familiar with how to do business for getting a high amount of income. Needless to say it is mandatory to have hard working guts and spirit in order to be successful.
Quite frankly speaking, among students who learned floral arrangements at our school, we can find people who are successful as a floral designer, floral shop owner , wedding flower decorator or flower arrangement instructor. What we can say is people who are successful and achieved their goal must have made tremendous efforts in various kinds of sense.
If you want to make a dream come true as a floral designer, we are more than happy to help you earn practical flower arranging skills.
