Floral designers with so many different backgrounds
These flower arrangements were made by our students under instructions of our floral design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
The first design (upper) is what we call natural arrangement using a tall vertical glass container with no floral foam. This type of arrangement always comes up with very unique and one of a kind design like no other. Those who are bored with usual arrangements are recommended to try "free style arrangement" we teach. The second and third ones are a regular kind of centerpieces using beautiful yellow and purple flowers as a focal element.
We often do internet surfing to find how other floral artist are doing. As a result of search, we have found many of floral designers who actively expose themselves online have interesting background as stated below: Namely many of them have multiple jobs (having multiple hats) as introduced below:
They often work as an event planner, wedding coordinator, interior designer, web designer or hair designer etc etc in addition to floral artist or floral shop owner that is their primary or sometimes secondary job. Although the title of their main (or secondary) job is different, the common point is all such jobs require artistic sense and unless they love things beautiful, they cannot do such a job. Namely they are multi-talented as an artist or event coordinator just like our Managing Director (owner of school) has various qualifications such as Ikebana instructor, European 3D decoupage (shadowbox art) instructor, Japanese tea ceremony instructor AND Japanese Kimono (traditional clothing) dressing instructor and examiner.
Due to the nature of our school, we now concentrate on teaching floral arrangements (European style design and Japanese traditional Ikebana arrangement). Those who now engage in the business of other kinds than floral arranging and want to learn floral art in order to help the operation of their primary business are welcome to join California Flower Art Academy.
As a matter of fact above mentioned various businesses are correlated each other and it will create synergy effect to learn floral designs to expand their operation.
