Handling perishable goods is tough. So is floral business
These flower arrangements were made by our students under instructions of our floral design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
Both are table arrangements displayed on the table. The first one uses pampas grass and reg flowers as a focal element supported by large green leaves. The second one is designed in a radiant form and placed in a white compote. Once you are engaged in floral business such as running a floral shop, offering wedding flower services or teaching flower arrangements, you need to handle fresh flowers that are perishable.
Unlike handling handbags, apparel products or electronic goods that are not perishable, we need to pay special attention to inventory control in case of floral business because fresh flowers' life as a merchandise is so short. And we have to handle such merchandise in a short turn around time. Unless we sell fresh flowers quickly soon after we procure them, they quickly lose freshness.
And also they easily wither. Beautiful fresh flowers easily change colors of petals. Once you join California Flower Art Academy you will become familiar with know-how about the way for prolonging the life of flowers while taking daily lessons in the classroom. We are doing floral design lessons in the hope that our students can make the best use of the knowledge and skills even after they leave our school. As for floral designs, those who visit this site on a regular basis must recognize the fact that our students can learn a variety of flower arrangements that are introduced in this site from time to time.
