For Ikebana arrangement we often use
Suiban that is a shallow container in which
Kenzan can be easily placed in the center. The
arrangement using Suiban can be made even by beginner students. In addition to Suiban, we sometimes use a
bamboo vase that is made of bamboo with a large diameter.
Ikebana
arrangement using bamboo container or bamboo vase is made by students or designers who are better experienced. Ikebana arranged in a bamboo vase enhances the beauty of natural atmosphere. Recently we can find a fake bamboo vase that is made of plastic material. Although plastic made vase looks like a real bamboo container, using a real bamboo vase is quite ideal without any doubt.
