Among students who belong to California Flower Art Academy, we find some of them have ample experiences in Japanese Ikebana arrangement. They learned Ikebana when they were in Japan. They have a license of Ikebana instructor. Judging from our past experience, it is not so difficult to earn new floral arranging skill that is European floral designs.
All of them are well trained and have a good sense of floral designs. Although the way of flower arranging and the concept behind design is different from European arrangement, they can easily earn a decent skill of European floral designs. This means the skill of Ikebana arrangement greatly helps earn European floral arranging skills.
If you have already learned Ikebana, you can definitely earn European floral design skills, which is not a big deal at all. If you have no experiences in Ikebana, why not learn Ikebana. By earning Ikebana skills in addition to your current floral design skills, you can expand the portfolio of your flower designs. And you can enjoy blending both beauties from Japanese and European art.
