Natural arrangements of no Kenzan and no floral foams
These floral arrangements were made by our students under instructions of our flower design teacher during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
When we design and make table arrangements or centerpieces, we use Floral Foams (also known as "Oasis" famous brand) for European style design OR Kenzan (frog: needlepoint holder to hold flowers/elements) for Japanese Ikebana. However depending upon the situation, we don't have to stick to this idea. Namely once in a while we should enjoy unique flower arrangement using neither Kenzan nor floral foam.
The floral designs shown in this page are called "Natural Arrangement" for which we do not use floral foam or Kenzan. Instead all flowers are arranged in a tall glass container resulting in a pretty unique and creative design as introduced in this page.
Once in a while we do lessons specifically for this type of arrangement.
In order to learn this arrangement, students are required to have already been taking lessons at California Flower Art Academy and must be qualified by our instructor because students who don't have ample experiences MAY face difficulties in earning the skill for this particular design. California Flower Art Academy offers a Wide Range of Programs to satisfy a variety of needs from our students.
From time to time, we offer special lessons focusing on unique and creative arrangements specifically for QUALIFIED STUDENTS. The class of Natural Arrangement is one of them.
