These photos show parallel floral arrangements that were made by California Flower Art Academy during a real lesson at our classroom. The actual design was made by our students under the detailed instruction of our instructor. The primary elements of parallel flower arrangement are a few (or several) pieces of line flowers placed vertically in parallel with each other. We seldom find a Western Floral Designer (European or American style design) who makes parallel arrangement.
The curriculum of Fresh Flower Arrangement Intermediate Course
offered by California Flower Art Academy
offers the lesson of this particular arrangement. In order to make parallel arrangement, students must have a certain level of experience in floral designs. Not only the shape but also the way of making this arrangement is a little bit different from ordinary type of table arrangement (or centerpiece), only experienced students can have the opportunity of learning this arrangement at our school. If you would like to learn flower arrangement (European design or Japanese Ikebana), we can help. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Here is a video presentation by Heather de Kok who demonstrates how to make parallel floral arrangement using sunflowers. The source of this video is Heather de Kok Floral Design
