These are all pomanders that are also known as kissing balls. These pomanders were designed and made during a real lesson at Calilfornia Flower Art Academy. They were made by our students in the classroom under the instruction of our floral design instructor. All these photos show pomanders are designed so that they are hung from a bride's hand. Quite frankly speaking, there are various ways for a pomander to be displayed as follows:
A. hung from a bride's hand (this is the most common).
B. hung from a ceiling of the wedding party room
C. hung from a chair at the time of wedding ceremony
D. placed on the wedding guest table as a centerpiece
As seen from above, there are several ways pomander is displayed at weddings. The curriculum of our Wedding Floral Decoration Advanced Course
covers a lesson for learning how to make a pomander which is a mandatory item for wedding decoration. If you would like to learn wedding floral arrangement, we can help. For those who have a basic skill of fresh flower arrangement, we recommend Wedding Party Arrangement Basic Course
. If you have no experience in floral designs, we will train you at Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course
. Once you complete this elementary course, you qualify to join business oriented courses such as wedding or funeral arrangement course.
