This arrangement was designed and made for a big home party held in Atherton, Bay Area. It was made by Mieko Hirano who is the owner and head instructor of California Flower Art Academy. From time to time our school participates in flower arranging project at various events mainly held by graduates of our school.
As she is very familiar with European arrangement and also Japanese Ikebana art, she often develops creative designs by blending both types of floral arrangements. In other words, by way of featuring the beauty of line arrangement, linear curve of element and also asymmetrical way of designs from Ikebana PLUS utilizing the elegant arranging method of European style of designs, very unique and creative floral decoration can be made. The photo shows one of such arrangements.
