There are various types of asymmetrical arrangements
All flower arrangements shown in this page were made by our students under instructions and full support of our floral design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
All of them are table arrangements with asymmetrical style. Namely when taking a look at these designs exactly from the center of front side, both sides (right side and left side) are not the same but totally different (asymmetrical). Among asymmetrical arrangements, we can find various types such as S shaped design, L shaped design and crescent design as well.
Students who belong to California Flower Art Academy learn asymmetrical designs (as stated in the above) in Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course where there are 12 designs in total (as of February 2017: subject to change in the future) and 10 out of 12 designs are table arrangements. They learn both symmetrical and asymmetrical designs as well as bouquet and corsage in this course. Since asymmetrical design creates atmosphere which is a little bit different from symmetrical designs, they learn variety of asymmetrical arrangements even after completing the Elementary Course. If you love flowers and would like to earn practical skills, why not join California Flower Art Academy where you can learn extensive designs from beginner to professional levels ? We teach you by way of hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions limiting number of students to no more than 4 per class (typically 2 to 3 students per class). Among the Wide Range of Programs we offer, you can pick up your most favorite one by considering your budget and taste etc. Those who are at a loss about which program they should join are recommended to join under mentioned one:
