Except for wearable floral designs such as bouquets, corsages and pomanders or wreath type floral decorations etc., most floral arrangements consist of three important elements. Our school names these elements (1) Primary element, (2)Secondary element and (3) Supplementary element. Although this naming MAY be different from school to school or association to association, there is no big difference among schools/associations in the fundamental concept and way of floral arranging.
Students are required to understand the function of each element which consists of flower designs. In order to earn a basic skill of flower arranging, it is so important to understand each function of above mentioned elements. Suppose you join
Introductory Program and have a wonderful experience of doing flower arrangements, the next step is usually proceeding to
Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course. This is the start of earning substantial skill of basic floral designs and you are going to learn various types of designs by using three important elements for actual floral designs.
After making sufficient experiences, some people want to challenge making arrangements which reflect their own concept and designs. Even in this case, it is nothing but variations and modifications of basic method of using above mentioned three important elements. Diligent and enthusiastic students gradually earn a broader range of skills by earning a deeper and higher end of flower arranging skills.
California Flower Art Academy teaches a variety of floral arrangements by way of STEP BY STEP and hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions.
