We have 30 year history in the San Francisco Bay Area
These floral arrangements were made by our students under instructions by our floral design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
The foundation of our school goes back to 1990. In 1987 and 1988, our instructor was engaged in teaching to local people as a volunteer. And in 1989 we started business operation and 1990 we got authorized by Flower Decorators Association (Tokyo, Japan) as one of schools certified by them. So counting from 1987, we have been engaged in teaching floral arrangements for the past 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area.
At the moment, we have extension class in Burlingame in addition to San Jose classroom. Since we are very tiny school, we can work flexibly on the lesson schedule and also satisfy our students' requests. One of the strongest advantages is that we can teach our students by way of hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions. |
We intentionally limit number of students to no more than 4 per class (typically only 2 to 3 students) which makes it possible to implement semi private lesson.
This is quite important when teaching floral designs. Person to person instructions and interactive communications between students and instructor are so important and this cannot be done (or difficult) by way of mass class system or online teaching program.
