These photos show floral arrangements made by our students under the instruction of our flower arrangement instructor during a real lesson in the classroom of
California Flower Art Academy. Although the majority of our students is beginners who want to learn floral designs as a hobby, we are approached from prospective students who are already engaged in floral design business. Some of them already have experience of making wedding and event flower arrangements. Nevertheless they would like to take lesson at our school. Why ? The reason behind this is as follows:
1. Some of them have not taken any official flower arranging education. Needless to say they have never attended any classes of floral designs. However they have been doing it their own way and style. Therefore they would like to review and make corrections on their own style arrangement if it is necessary to correct their way.
2. They already took some lessons of flower arrangement and also have been engaged in floral business for several years. However they would like to enhance and brush up on their skills PLUS they would like to expand floral design portfolio by taking lessons at our school.
Quite frankly speaking, as far as they are very familiar with business (business savvy) and inherently skillful and resourceful, they COULD do floral business although there is no knowing to what kind of extent they can win the competitions.
Also as long as they sell fresh cut flowers at a floral shop and easy flower arrangements, high quality of skill for making very high end of floral designs is not always required. However once they would like to actively engage in corporate floral design business and wedding floral arrangement services, highly sophisticated skill is necessary. California Flower Art Academy is more than happy to help any type and any level of students who would like to learn floral decorations.
