What is next after finishing all round floral arrangement ?
The first and second floral arrangements are what is called all round design. All arrangements in this page were made by our students under instructions of flower design teachers during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy.
When learning floral arrangements, our students usually start with table arrangements among which the first design they make is all round arrangement. The reason behind this is all round is one of the easiest symmetrical designs. Needless to say, it is neither vertical NOR horizontal design. Among students who are ambitious MAY want to learn vertical or horizontal design.
Yes, our instructors are ready for the next flower arrangement. The curriculum of Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course shows that the next arrangement after all round design is Triangle Arrangement. This is designed so it looks TRIANGLE when viewing from the front side of design.
Triangle design is a little bit difficult than all round arrangement. It is a symmetrical design which means that this design is made up of exactly similar elements facing each other. It is necessary to pay attention so that the final appearance looks symmetrical as shown per the bottom photo on the right.
Students will be gradually learning various table arrangements in the Elementary Course and by the time they finish this course, they usually learn 10 types of table arrangements including all round, symmetrical and asymmetrical one as well in addition to bouquet and corsage.
If your primary purpose of learning floral design is to enjoy home decoration as a hobby, mastering 10 of table arrangements MAY be enough UNLESS you are ambitious to learn more designs. If you are seriously thinking of earning practical floral design skills, why not join Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course offered by California Flower Art Academy ?
