The information stated in this page should apply for students who learn European floral arrangements (not Japanese Ikebana arrangements):
The majority of people start from
Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course if they have no previous experience in floral designs. Some people would like to continue learning floral arrangements after completing this elementary course. To what course (or program) should they proceed after the elementary course ?
To make the story simple, you have options of proceeding to:
OR
B. Business Oriented Course such as:
Wedding Party Arrangement Basic Course
In order to make a decision about this question, you need to clarify following points?
1. What is your final goal ?
2. To what extent would you like to learn floral designs ?
3. How much amount of budget do you have ?
4. How soon would you like to start using your skill for floral business ?
Namely if your final goal for learning floral design is to teach flower arrangement by having your own class, you are required to proceed to Fresh Flower Arrangement Intermediate Course because this Intermediate Course leads to the Advanced Course and Instructor Course.
If your goal is to engage in floral design business such as running a floral shop, becoming a florist, engage in offering wedding and/or funeral floral decorating services AND you have only limited time available for learning floral designs, you can proceed to business oriented course (above mentioned choice B). This way can save you lots of time and money.
REMARKS: If you have plenty of time and budget and you would like to completely master floral designs, the most ideal way is to make a choice of above A. And after completing Fresh Flower Arrangement Instructor Course (or in parallel with Fresh Flower Arrangement Advanced Course), you should proceed to business oriented courses. This choice costs lots of money and very time consuming. Therefore only limited number of students make this choice UNLESS they want to completely/perfectly master European floral designs or intend to be an instructor of floral designs.
