All these three types of wreaths were designed and made by our students under the instruction of our instructor during real lessons in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy. The left one is what we call garland type wreath which can be used as a lei worn around the neck or for making home decoration by hanging on the wall. The center one is displayed on the table (picture taken from the top) as a centerpiece. The right one is easel (stand) mounted wreath which is displayed at a funeral. The left end one does not use floral foam while other two wreaths use floral foam (Oasis) to prolong the life of flowers. The floral foam used for wreath is a round shape which is designed so it can be hidden behind flowers.
Besides above introduced ones, there are many types of wreaths. The most popular one is an Easel Mounted Type that can be seen at various occasions such as grand openings (or a restaurant or newly established corporation etc), weddings and funerals. In addition to these types, another popular one is a door mounted wreath which is typically made of artificial materials rather than fresh flowers. And they can be often found not only during Christmas season but also as a regular ornament decorating the front doors all year long.
Although we teach how to make a wreath, we offer Wreath Making Program
for people who would like to learn only wreaths. Besides this program, California Flower Art Academy offers a Wide Range of Programs
from which you can choose your favorite one depending on your taste, budget and purpose of learning flower arrangements. If you would like to learn floral designs and have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
