These photos show examples of table arrangements made by our students in the classroom of California Flower Art Academy during a real flower arranging lesson. The arrangements were made under the instruction of our floral design teacher. Among table arrangements, there are tons of different types of designs such as horizontal arrangements, triangle arrangements, round arrangements etc. etc. When starting to learn floral designs, your instructor picks up entry level of designs recommendable to a beginner, which MAY vary depending on the availability of fresh flowers at the market.
The way of arranging is different depending on the shape of arrangement as well as the type of vase used for the design. Through learning various types of table arrangements, you will learn basics of floral designs and gradually earn skill of European floral arrangements. Once you have earned a certain level of skills, you COULD challenge designing by yourself. In this case you can do your way and your style. However it takes a lot of time to reach this stage. Thus the key for success in floral designs is for you to be patient until you have earned a decent skill without which you cannot develop your own portfolio.
