The BYOB Sip & Paint class has been a wonderful antidote for a stressed out week. I am happy to report the success of the classes, which is not attributed to revenue, rather the response and obvious remedy for relieving stress and promoting feelings of joy, calm, creative accomplishment, and satisfaction. Some comments from happy painters: "I had an amazing time, thank you for offering this, I'll be back, this is better than going to the night club, this is wonderful-I had such a good time"... Many come not really knowing what to expect and a little unsure of themselves because they haven't painted since preschool; but, they are quickly relieved when they find out that they don't have to paint inside the lines and it's not all that serious. They find out that it's more about relaxing, enjoying the company of their friends and others, playing in paint and expressing their own creative individualality. There's no pressure, right or wrong way, or judgement- just pure fun and enjoyment.
The class is offered every Friday evening from 7-10pm at The La Mesa Biz Center- Hosted by Noric Art and Wellness.
