No Pain No gain

Norma’s Variety of Spice Blog
We’ve all heard the saying “no pain, no gain” it’s true in many aspects of life; I was reminded of this in the wee hours of the night when my leg took a wrong turn that caused a horrendous cramp in my calf; my treatment was to apply deep continuous pressure, which hurt even more; 30 seconds later the the pain subsided. Then I massaged my calf with my Leg Cramp Formula to help with the lingering ache you get after the initial cramp. I went from pain to gain and a restful nights sleep. Remember! Deep pressure with your thumb and my leg cramp formula (special order). if you’re prone to leg cramps, it’s helpful to massage it on your legs before bed.

My medicine cabinet

Norma’s Variety of Spice Blog
My medicine cabinet is filled with essential oils and other topical antidotes, which I use for myself and my wellness customers. Recently I made a blend with eucalyptus, frankincense and rosemary; which I used for pain- I’m happy to share that it’s  relieving my pain and healing is taking place. I don’t know if it was an injury or nerve pain- but the oil’s definitely work; they are  natural, safe remedies for healing that I totally recommend over popping pills any day.

Just A Thought

Norma’s Variety of Spice Blog
Just a thought that provoked a matter of preference; I received a couple of cut flower arrangements for Valentine’s Day; I Iove flowers, they are so beautiful and nurturing; though, after a few days I put them outside because the scent of dying flowers does not sit well with me. I like receiving flowers, but I can’t help considering the fact that had they not been cut, they would still be blooming beautifully in their natural state for us to enjoy.  Flowers die off eventually, but, I would prefer to see them blooming and die naturally, rather cutting for a few days of enjoyment and watch them die.  However, I’m grateful for receiving flowers and the thought behind receiving them.  The photo is a painting of flowers from within that can be enjoyed for a lifetime (NFS) and there’s always the option of silk flowers and stick flowers- just running thoughts through my head of preferences regarding cut flowers.
Just A Thought- Have a beautiful day:)
