Norma’s Variety of Spice BlogHaving a routine helps me to feel more stable and grounded rather than beginning the day in a haphazardly fashion without a plan. I have more sense of accomplishment and purpose. My routine starts from the moment I open my eyes with stretching while still lying and then when my feet touch the floor, immediately falling on my knees to thank, glorify God, and pray His blessings upon the day for myself, family and loved ones and for the state of the world; then I light my ritual sage and pray again; I pray that the smoke from my sage would represent the presence of the Holy Spirt, which is the spirit of the Living God; prayers for myself, husband and all who enter into our home/business space, walking around and blessing every room in my home. After my prayer rituals, I prepare my daily helpings of fruit and my morning tea- I would like to highlight ‘Happy Hour Ceremonial Teas’ by Happy Hour; I love their teas and beautifully crafted jars; the tea is made with herbs spices, fruit and good wholesome organic, pH balanced ingredients; I’m having Mantra Mint this morning, it’s so wonderful! After I’ve had my ritual tea and my fruit has had time to digest, I then prepare a breakfast meal. Eric, normally puts on some relaxing music for us to enjoy, which provokes a relaxed state.
Having a Routine sets a standard for how you live your life according to what you want out of life; this is my morning routine and it seems to be attributing to my sense of wellbeing, soundness of mind and mindfulness. That’s it for now, I’ll share more on my routines as they develop. Do you have a routine? I would love to hear about yours. Enjoy your day:)
