Alameda Studio Tour - Oct 8 -9, 2011

9/29/11

Black Horses
It's just around the corner -- over 25 artists, including me, will open their doors to visitors and buyers in the historic Alameda area of the North Valley of Albuquerque, from 10-5 each day.  There will also be a preview with one piece by each artist on Oct. 7 from 4-7 -- with music and food and drink and the artists at 834 Alameda Blvd. -- for full information, including a list of the participating artists and a map to the studios, see the tour website at www.alamedastudiotour.com

Fall in New Mexico

9/9/11

Ristra
Nothing captures New Mexico in the Fall like red chili peppers.  Picked this up today at a local vegetable stand.  Who could resist?

Art Auction

9/4/11

Marching to a Different Drummer
I recently donated this painting to an art auction benefitting Globalquerque, a world music festival in Albuquerque.  The painting didn't sell, but now hangs happily in my mother's house.

Recently completed three miniature (6"x4") oil and canvas paintings.  Now back to larger format.  So enjoying my horses.
