“My work is an expression of being within the natural world where I experience life with the most gratitude, depth and excitement,” says Jolyn Wells-Moran. Wells-Moran studied at the Institute for American Universities, School of Drawing and Painting, Aix-en-Provence, France; Gage Academy of Fine Art, Seattle, WA; and with many well-known masters. She studied most recently with Richard Claremont, Matt Smith, Eric Jacobson and Jill Carver. She has shown in many juried shows, including those run by: Women Artists of the West, the California Art Club; Plein Air Washington Artists, the Puget Sound Group and Women Painters of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been in galleries and other juried venues for the past 16 years. She is an active member of the Seattle art community.
