This small painting comes from my love of rustic textures. Rather than create a realistic picture, though, I've chosen to present it as an abstract composition. The bricks are actually appliqued - created from acrylic medium while the painting was in progress.
The painting's executed on gallery-wrapped, acid-free cotton canvas. Dimensions are 12" x 12" x 3/4". It's ready to hang with painted sides that make framing unnecessary. Note that colors will vary from monitor to monitor.
