Monoprinting

2/20/09

Recently I have experimented with monoprints on copper plates and rediscovered oil, a medium I have never been partial to.  After playing around first with watercolour and acrylic I can see that oil gives the best results and the overall surprising textural effects from literally squishing oil onto paper are better than I could have painted.  Is this cheating?  Who cares?
