This painting is part of a new series which originated while in
residence for a month at the prestigious Jentel Art Foundation in WY and
completed in her Colorado studio. Pristas was awarded a fellowship at
Jentel in the autumn of 2013. Jentel Artist Residency Program lies in
the Lower Piney Creek Valley with spectacular views over scoria topped
hills to the majestic Big Horn Mountains.
