I have always appreciated and enjoyed the arts and came to painting later in life. For as long as I can remember I have dabbled in various arts related projects, which encouraged me to find my way to painting. My professional life includes working at the Getty Museum in Malibu, California with the Associate Director in charge of public programs. In 1998 I began taking a variety of art classes at College of Marin, Kentfield, California, and later various print workshops in New Mexico to expand my interest in different forms and mediums. After some years of painting watercolor representational still lifes, landscapes and portraits I found myself drawn to the abstract using water based oils.
