About
I am a Pulitzer Prize award-winning artist working from my studio in Miami. I graduated from Ringling School of Arts in 1976, and started my career in the field of advertising. Subsequently, I was recruited to work as an Editorial Illustrator and Page Designer for The Miami Herald / El Nuevo Herald, followed by The South Florida Sun Sentinel . In these 3 publications, I received multiple awards from: The Society of Newspaper Designers ( SND ), The Society of Illustrator ( SI ), The Society of Hispanic Journalists ( SHJ ) and The American Institute for Graphic Arts ( AIGA ). I also worked as Senior Graphic Designer for Barton G Enterprises and was an Adjunct Professor at the Art Institute ( ai ) in Miami.
