Helen Consuelo Lueken, born 1942 in New Mexico. She has been a professional artist for over four decades. Her style is representational and she works in oil, watercolor and soft pastel. While plein air studies draw her interest, when weather permits, she much enjoys the comfort of her studio on the second florr of the log home built by her husband John. Helen has lived in Washington State for two and a half decades, and curently resides in the foothills of Arlington. Helen prefers landscape and waterscapes yet paints a variety of subjects, including flowers she grows.
