Artist directory :: NMcG artist (Nicole McGrath)

A great majority of my work are paintings created en plein air in the forests and watersheds of Ontario Canada and San Martin Peru, with good quality oil paints free of chemicals. After all, I am part of nature, a co-habitant.

En-plein-air in San Roque de Cumbaza, Peru Housed at Sachaqa, an artist residency with studio, and at Aldea Mishkiyacu, a quiet retreat, I painted for two months, in and around San Roque de Cumbaza in the Peruvian High Jungle. It is a place dense with nature and variety of life forms never in a hurry, of natural paradises, of countless new butterflies, and of beautiful, intelligent and conscientious people.
