Watercolor
Watercolor is a challenging medium for me, but I am slowly learning to let go of control and enjoy the serendipitous nature of the medium.
About
Love of art has been with me all my life, despite my chosen career in engineering. I spend my weekends doing art - building and painting sets for a community theater or painting on my own. Art for me is a way to balance my left brain and right brain, a way to make me complete. I find it funny that my co-worker engineers call me “the artist” while my theater friends tag me as “the engineer.” Maybe I’m both, maybe I am neither…who says an engineer can’t be artistic?
