PSSD's first Dusty Fingers Challenge

Julianne Ricksecker
Linda Reyes
Karen Howard
A big thank you to Margaret Larlham for organizing our first ever Dusty Fingers Challenge. Also, a thank you to Susan Mae Hull for hosting the event at her gallery, Ladybug. This is a great way to keep our members involved and hopefully inspire new works. The theme of this challenge was "water" in its many forms, from waterfalls to the ocean.
Twelve of our members were in attendance today. Each participant gave a quick explaination of their process and inspiration. There were plenty of questions and sharing of information. Each person was given two votes to choose a favorite. In the end, Julianne Ricksecker's painting was chosen for 1st place, Linda Reyes had her seascape voted 2nd and Karen Howard's piece was voted 3rd.
We hope that more of our members will be able to participate in the future. Will Crawley drove down from Orange County and LInda Reyes came in from Lake Elsinor. That is great dedication.
