This is a photo transfer I made from an original slide I found in a second-hand shop. The image is of 9 parochial school girls, circa late 1940's or early 1950's, standing together with smiles on their faces. This image and its many nuances has been, and continues to be, an endless source of inspiration for numerous works of art, which constitutes the "9 Girls" series.
