Soft glistening textures in this painting were created using repeated application of the watercolor tool. This is ironic in that when using real paints, watercolor has always been my nemesis. Even as a child, I tried to use it as if were acrylic instead. With the watercolor tool, however, there is no overly damp canvas, just light touches of flowing color!
