If you've ever been camping or just sat around a fire at night basking in it's comforting circle of light, your thoughts have probably wandered to when fire was the height of human technology. It provided provided heat, protection, not to mention certain culinary advantages. Why, it was the best thing since chipped flint. It also provided a little extra time at the end of the day for vital chores and a little social intercourse. There's nothing quite so engaging as sitting around a fire talking with family and good friends. Nowadays, most people are otherwise disposed. They still sit around in a circle, but they prefer to bathe in the light of cathode rays. Wait, I guess cathode rays are obsolete now too. The primal TV seeks to bridge the gap between the past and the present, however tenuous. The TV itself measures 20" wide x 18" deep and is 19" tall. It sits on a table that measures 24" wide x 20" deep and is 24" tall. The whole unit is about 6 feet tall including the antenna. The TV can be remove to empty fire box that is equipped with a fire grate. The TV is made from 18 gauge steel. The fire box sits on the 1/8 inch steel table top, and is constructed with 16 gauge steel. The surface of the steel has been age accelerated to achieve a bright rust patina. The color of this patina changes when heated to a variety of reds, oranges and yellows, then changes back when exposed to moisture. Please see distributor page for purchase information.
