Sweet as a warm Spring breeze, this wonderful Bleuette frock will impress you with its variety of fabrics and overall daintiness . Adapted from the La Semaine de Suzette pattern of 1922 ,(Petite robe à volants) ,translates to Little Dress with Ruffles. My version achieves this look for Bleuette with the use of French embroidered ribbon. Three gathered rows of this *exquisite* trim embellish the front and the back in the most adorable way. The dress itself is silk douppioni in antique white. The sides are gathered by silk ribbons tied in a bow. The back closes with two antique buttons- red stones set in sterling silver-(early 1900's) and hand worked loops. The edges of the neckline and sleeves are bias-bound in self fabric.
Her matching hair bow is hand-dyed silk charmeause in scarlet red. *So* becoming!
So charming and feminine , this outfit is sure to make you swoon!!!
