About the artist
Chris Doogan
Chris Doogan is an artist living in Park Slope, Brooklyn with a studio in the Gowanus Canal area. A self-taught printmaker, Chris works primarily in woodcut and linocut block printing. His images are influenced by the tradition of the narrative works of the 1930’s WPA era and the urban environment of New York City. Chris has had several solo shows and has been in numerous group shows. He is also the founder of the Gowanus artists open studio tour. Chris works as a scenic artist on sets for TV, movies and...
