 | | These paintings are, in truth, portraits. I am drawn to the spirit of these animals. . . whether it is the breathtaking beauty of a newborn colt, the magnificence of an Eland, or simply the wonder my cat expresses while watching for and dreaming of birds. |
 | | I believe that I enjoy painting birds more than any other subject. I am absolutely fascinated by the delicacy, grace and color of these majestic creatures. Most of these paintings are of birds that either breed or winter in the state of California. |
