| Through my work, I explore my thoughts and feelings about my physical, emotional, and social environment. Humor and exaggeration are my means. Playful, chaotic, and surreal elements unite to create an absurd, cartoon-like world where anything is possible, a world that is simultaneously amusing and eerily uncertain.
I think of myself as a light-hearted pessimist or, if you wish, a rather cynical optimist, and I want these attitudes to be present in the work. Ultimately, I try to create fun and thought-provoking pieces that entertain, delight, and invite people back time and time again.
