| Natalie Schott and Lionel Stern met in front of a Picasso at the Museum of Modern Art on a fall day in 1944, and married in two months after a whirlwind courtship. My sister Debra and I feel fortunate to have been raised in an environment which supported the flourishing of our talents. Debra inherited our father's gifts for portraiture and illustration. I share our mother's passion for color and our father's for photography. We both inherited our mother's fashion sense, which enhanced our careers in textile design.
To celebrate this rich artistic legacy and honor the memory of our parents, we have assembled a diverse collection of prints reproduced from our original oil, casein, gouache and watercolor paintings. In the galleries you will find landscapes and family scenes of the 30's and 40's by Natalie and Lionel Stern, and abstract and illustrative tableaus by Pamela and Debra. We hope that you will enjoy your visit and will come again to view our latest additions.
