30 x 40 oil on canvas 06/01/2010 My approach to this painting was inspired by the girl's dress by "Erin Fetherston". The pouty lips belie the burden hidden , the weighty thoughts which are about to spill from the girls lips just as the silk dress drapes the girls form. The red dress alludes to the temperature of the moment.
