Oyster silk dupioni sleeveless coat and matching hat,  hand-embellished with lace, cording and buttons. The coat is lined with patterned silk necktie fabric. It was inspired by elaborate embroideries seen in India, where the silk was purchased, and I chose to echo them in muted neutral tones. The coat is size Large, the hat One Size Fits All. Coat pattern Susan Deal's Kyoto Kote, hat pattern original. The ensemble has appeared in regional wearable art runway exhibits.
