Ink, coffee, and guache on canvas. This image is of my college friend Ben, who has cerebral palsy. It represents his strength and courage, and the melancholy of the struggle that his abled mind has with his disabled body. It is a struggle that we all have as humans, being bound to physical aspects of the body but freed from the mind through the soul to do what the physical body can't.
