***Rio Grande Scenic on the San Luis & Rio Grande*** The San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad hauls freight from Monte Vista Colorado and Antonito Colorado to Walsenburg Colorado. During the summer months the Steam Department runs a tourist operation between Alamosa Colorado and La Veta Colorado. Running over 120 miles daily the route takes you over La Veta pass once each direction.
Please enjoy photographs of the Adler Cabin and the surrounding area. Hike, mountain bike, snowshoe, crosscounty ski in national forest right out the back door. Alpine skiing within minutes as well as gambling in Central City and Blackhawk or a night on the town in nearby Boulder.
