Pastel on Mi Tientes paper. 19"w x 25"h. Stylized version of canna leaves in brilliant greens and purples. Part of a series of botanical images. See also Canna I, II, IV and V. The inspiration came from visiting tropical places and from my own garden. The colors seem to glow against the black background.
