Ann Calagaz working in several mediums, Ann is continually searching for new and different ways to express her talents. Her work ranges from realistic to abstract, however some of her most popular works are historical paintings of local interest. The Fairhope Pier, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Saint Francis at the Point have been very much in demand.
Many of Ann’s paintings have been selected for national and international shows. Some of these shows include Georgia Watercolor Society, Louisiana Watercolor Society, International Society of Experimental Artist, Western Colorado Society, The Alliance of Women Artist show in Palo Alto, California and at the Ridgewood Art Institute in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Ann was also invited to show in Paris, France at the Galerie Everarts. Most recently, three of her works have been selected for inclusion in a limited edition book featuring the works of artists of the Gulf Coast of Alabama.
This gifted artist represented Mobile on a Sister City tour to Germany, Poland and Solovakia, she taught classes in each of these countries. Her work is displayed in each of these countries.
